Jon Concepción is a litigator who focuses his practice on complex commercial cases and class actions in both state and federal court.
Jon joined Podhurst Orseck after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordán of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Nelson S. Román of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Prior to his clerkships, he worked as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York, where he worked primarily on criminal white-collar and civil regulatory matters. Jon was also part of a trial team that secured an acquittal against the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Before law school, he served as a paralegal specialist at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York where he was a member of the Terrorism & International Narcotics Unit.
Jon holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Connecticut.
Jon is a member of the New York bar. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
