Officials investigating the Ethiopian Boeing 737 Max crash have preliminarily concluded that the automated anti-stall feature activated before the crash. This finding, reported by The Wall Street Journal, connects the incident to a previous fatal Lion Air crash where the same flight-control system was also implicated. The two incidents claimed a total of 346 lives and led to the worldwide grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX fleet. A lawsuit has been filed against Boeing by a victim’s family, alleging the company defectively designed the automated flight control system.
