UPS Plane Crash Updates

Multiple families of passengers who died in the Lion Air crash are suing the aircraft’s manufacturer, Boeing. The lawsuits, filed in Chicago, allege the 737 Max 8 jet had a defectively designed flight control system and that Boeing failed to provide adequate safety warnings about it. These complaints also assert that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rushed the aircraft’s certification process, delegating too much authority to Boeing. Attorney Steve Marks of the firm Podhurst Orseck, who represents many of the victims’ families, stated that more lawsuits are expected.
