Seven employees from Pebb Enterprises, a commercial real estate investment firm based in Boca Raton, Florida, died in a plane crash in Akron, Ohio. In total, nine individuals were killed in the crash, and there were no survivors. While the names of all the victims were not officially released, family members identified executive Diane Smoot as one of the passengers. The company issued a statement expressing heartbreak and shock, prioritizing support for the families of the deceased.
