Aaron Podhurst is the founding partner of Podhurst Orseck, Trial and Appellate Lawyers, a boutique litigation firm based in Miami, Florida. Aaron built his national reputation as a top plaintiffs’ aviation lawyer and remains a trusted leader in that field after a career spanning over five decades and rooted in a deep commitment to justice and a passion for the courtroom. His legal excellence has also helped guide Podhurst Orseck into one of South Florida’s premier commercial litigation firms. Aaron earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University, where he was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He is a member of the Florida and New York Bars.
Aaron is a passionate advocate for civic and philanthropic causes. He has served as president of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and remains active in numerous charitable organizations. His contributions have earned him the Medallion of Honor from the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Jurisprudence Award from the Anti-Defamation League. In 2010, he was honored with the “Legal Legends” award and continues supporting access to justice and community progress across South Florida.
