Two South Florida attorneys, Stephen F. Rosenthal and Albert E. Dotson Jr., attended the investiture ceremony for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, who grew up in the same neighborhood as the two men. In an interview, Dotson stated he admires Justice Brown Jackson because she embodies the four qualities of a judge described by Socrates: to hear courteously, answer wisely, consider soberly, and decide impartially. He attributed her success to her deliberate nature and integrity, noting her career shows that dreams can be achieved through perseverance and hard work.
