Mila Dago is facing charges including DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide following a 2013 crash that killed her passenger, Irina Reinoso. Just minutes before the fatal incident, Dago sent a series of texts to her boyfriend, including messages that read “Driving drunk woo …” and “Ill be dead thanks to you …”. According to prosecutors, Dago ran a red light in a rented Smart Car and collided with a truck, resulting in the death of Reinoso, 22, at the scene. In addition to the criminal case against Dago, a civil lawsuit has been filed against the vehicle-sharing company, Car2Go.
