Cristina De Castro is a staff attorney at Podhurst Orseck. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in political science and economics from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Cristina served as a Senior Writing Editor on the Business Law Review.
Prior to joining the firm, Cristina worked at Downs Law Group, where she focused on complex litigation arising out of the BP Oil Spill, including class action and multidistrict litigation proceedings. In that role, she drafted legal documents and worked on pre-trial motions, including Daubert motions, and assisted with all phases of discovery. She also previously interned with the Florida Senate.
Cristina is admitted to the Florida Bar and has passed the New York Bar Exam, pending admission. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
