UPS Plane Crash Updates

Ramon Rasco, an aviation attorney, commented on the Germanwings Flight 9525 crash, which was deliberately caused by the co-pilot. He highlighted that, unlike in Europe at the time, U.S. regulations post-9/11 prohibit a co-pilot from being alone in the cockpit. Rasco pointed out that Germanwings conducted psychological tests on its pilots less frequently than many other carriers, who typically perform them annually. Consequently, some airlines like Norwegian Airlines and Air Canada updated their cockpit policies following the incident. Rasco advised travelers to research airline safety records, accident histories, and pilot screening regulations before flying.
