Steven Marks, a University of Miami School of Law alumnus, has established one of the nation’s largest aviation litigation portfolios at the firm Podhurst Orseck. After an early career setback, he secured numerous victories, including a major settlement for the families of SilkAir Flight 185 victims and handling cases like the Air France Flight 4590 crash. Marks is currently representing victims from the two Boeing 737 Max crashes and was also a key figure in the NFL concussion litigation that resulted in a $1 billion settlement. He attributes his success to his legal training, trial strategy, and his ability to form strong connections with the victims’ families he represents.
