Boeing has advised 16 airlines to inspect their 737 Max jets for a potential electrical problem, leading to dozens of planes being pulled from service. The issue concerns a component in the electrical power system that might not be correctly grounded and is unrelated to the flight-control system that caused an earlier worldwide grounding. U.S. carriers, including Southwest, American, and United Airlines, have all removed affected jets to perform the necessary inspections. The aircraft manufacturer stated it is working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration to address the matter.
